Job summary

Advocate Health AirCare Paramedic - Ground Transport in North Carolina seeks skilled ALS Paramedics to provide professional pre-hospital care under NC EMS standards.

You will perform high-quality assessment and triage, manage airways and advanced interventions, document care in the EHR, ensure equipment readiness, and support safe patient transport.

A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants; two years of field experience and NC Paramedic certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Accredited EMT-Paramedic training program required.
• North Carolina Paramedic certification required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS required to completing orientation.
• Two (2) years of clinical paramedic experience, including 1 year of active field pre-hospital experience.
• Advocate Health approved driving course within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability for driving AirCare vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality assessment and triage to determine patient needs.
• Operate specialized medical equipment and administer treatments.
• Document care and treatments in the EHR.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and ensure equipment is functioning.
• Transport patients under NC EMS protocols.
