Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled EMT transport technician for MedCenter Air. You will provide timely patient care, document care accurately, and maintain vehicle readiness while ensuring safety and compliance with policy.

The position requires NC EMT-B and National Registry credentials, SC credentialing within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Shifts include day, night, and weekends; qualification maintenance is supported by the employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NC EMT-B and National Registry EMT certifications preferred at time of hire; SC EMT-B and National Registry EMT required within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS certification required; trauma certification within 6 months preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 6 points; driving course to be completed within first week of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes skills checks timely and accurately.
• Maintains clean vehicles and departments; restocks as needed.
• Documents patient care accurately and places chart in medical record promptly.
• Delivers quality patient care per policies and state regulations.
• Follows safety guidelines and procedures; drives as directed.
• Assists with public relations and marketing activities as needed.
• Operates transport vehicle in compliance with Advocate Health policies.
