Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Hydroblasting Supervisor for the Baton Rouge, LA area within our Specialty Services team. The role requires directing hydroblasting crews, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring safety compliance on site.

Essential qualifications include a minimum of 1 year as a foreman/crew leader in hydroblasting and vacuum operations, TWIC card, and post-offer drug screening. The job involves coordinating crews, maintaining records, and adhering to client safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Foreman / Crew leader in hydroblasting and vacuum field
• TWIC card required
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, harness with lanyard)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to health or safety

Responsibilities

• Interprets blueprints, sketches, orders; estimates worker-hours and materials; assigns duties and lines up work
• Trains and assists workers; supervises activities of assigned construction workers
• Ensures adherence to company standards and safety regulations; adjusts work sequences to meet schedule
• Maintains time and production records; studies schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements
• May make cost estimates for contracts; performs additional assignments as required
