Job summary

Caretenders, part of the LHC Group and UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health in Massachusetts. You will assess patients, develop and implement therapy plans, and collaborate with the care team to improve mobility, function, and well-being.

Two sites are referenced—Allerton House of Weymouth and Allerton House of Hingham—offering a rewarding role with competitive compensation and benefits within a national health system.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient functional status and physical therapy needs.
• Assists physician in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Provides services within scope of practice and plan of care.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment.
• Treats patients to relieve pain and restore function.
• Instructs patient and family about plan of care and progress.
• Visits patients according to Plan of Treatment and documents progress.
• Completes evaluations and develops PT plan of care per state guidelines.
