Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver home health OT services under physician-approved plans of care in Florida. You will assess patient needs, develop and adjust plans, and ensure safety and quality of care in patients' homes.

The role requires an active OT license for the state, ACOTE-accredited education, NBCOT eligibility, CPR certification, and typically one year of OT experience. Per-visit pay with a generous benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state you are assigned to work.
• Graduation from ACOTE-accredited OT program or equivalent.
• Eligible to take or completed NBCOT certification exam.
• One year related occupational therapy experience; if <1 year, regional clinical leader approval and mentoring/residency may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and documents rationale for any omissions.
• Maintain safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
