Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is seeking a part-time Group Exercise Instructor to lead energizing adult fitness classes at Southwest YMCA in Greenfield, WI. Under the direction of the Fitness Director, you will safely deliver classes, promote wellness, and deliver outstanding customer service to members.

Responsibilities include completing training, building rapport with members, maintaining class attendance, and promoting YMCA programs while upholding the Y's core values of caring,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience leading fitness classes is preferred.
• Ability to teach more than one format; outside certifications may be required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, safe group fitness classes as directed by the Fitness Director.
• Build strong rapport with members and promote YMCA programs and events.
• Maintain class attendance records and ensure proper use of audio/studio equipment.
• Follow all YMCA policies, rules, and safety procedures, reporting incidents as needed.
