Job summary

YMCA of Greater Waukesha County in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a part-time Group Exercise Instructor to lead adult fitness classes under the guidance of the Fitness Director.

You will deliver energizing, safe, and inclusive group sessions, build rapport with members, promote wellness, and help maintain class attendance and equipment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in leading classes, and relevant certifications as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience leading fitness classes preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• Some formats may require outside certifications prior to hire.
• Ability to teach more than one format is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training provided and prepare to start leading adult fitness classes.
• Safely lead energizing, fun, effective, and educational group classes as directed by Fitness Director.
• Build strong rapport with members and promote participation in YMCA programs and events.
