Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver friendly, accurate service, help customers complete their projects, and keep the sales floor clean and well stocked. Full‑time and part‑time positions are available in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will engage customers, recommend products, process sales at the POS, and support store operations while maintaining safety and a positive team environment. A customer-service mindset and ability to multitask are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Drug test may be required for heavy equipment where state law permits.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance with safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.
