Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to provide friendly, accurate service and assist customers on the sales floor. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available, with base pay starting at $15.00 per hour and higher starting pay based on experience.

The role emphasizes helping customers find products, maintaining clean and safe stocked areas, and working with the team to hit sales goals in a fast-paced environment. Prior customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Knowledge of basic math skills.
Customer service experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
Forklift certifications through F&D may be required.
Drug test may be required where permitted by state law.

Responsibilities

Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas; keep area clean, shoppable and safe.
Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
Process customers at checkout using POS system.
Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
Create price tags and merchandise signs.
Stock, tag and display merchandise.
Align with company core values and safety processes.
Answer telephone according to guidelines.
Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.
