Job summary

M&T Bank Carlisle is seeking a Float Teller to support multiple branches in the Carlisle, PA area. You will engage customers, demonstrate digital banking options, and manage lobby activities while handling transactions accurately and following bank policies.

The role requires 6 months of customer service experience and strong communication skills; travel between branches is expected. This position is onsite and pay ranges from $18.00 to $26.21 per hour in USD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months customer service experience, including data entry and/or cash handling.
• Proven verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Well-organized with time management and prioritization skills.
• Proficient with internet user-level technology.
• Bilingual based on branch needs can be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional branch customer service and resolve routine issues.
• Engage customers with digital demonstrations and promote self-service opportunities.
• Assist in lobby management, greet customers, and address immediate needs.
• Process transactions accurately and balance cash according to policy.
• Escalate and resolve account service issues, logging complaints as required.
• Support operational activities such as cash orders, vault, and wire transfers.
• Adhere to AML/BSA/KYC requirements and regulatory standards.
