Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Las Vegas is hiring part-time event security staff to monitor entry, check bags, and enforce access control at sports venues, concerts, and conventions amid high-traffic crowds.

You will provide guest service, screen guests, verify IDs, and follow venue policies; 18+ age, high school diploma, background check, and drug testing apply; weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry, scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct crowd flow.
• Screen guests with bag searches, metal detectors, and ID verification.
• Protect guests and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches.
• Provide escorts for unruly guests when necessary.
• Follow venue policies and procedures for different events.
• Offer directions and information to enhance guest experience.
