Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Las Vegas is hiring part-time event security staff for major conventions, concerts, trade shows and sporting events. The role offers flexible scheduling, pay between $18 and $20 per hour, and weekly pay to help you fit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities include bag checks, access control, ticket verification, and providing excellent guest service while following venue policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving a customer or company owned vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct traffic entering and exiting the venue; verify tickets and wristbands.
• Screen guests during entry using bags, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets by watching for security breaches.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
• Follow policies, procedures and regulations of different venues and events.
• Provide a positive experience for guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience.
