Job summary

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, equivalent or five years of work experience.
• Nevada PILB Security Guard Registration required upon hire; financial assistance provided.
• Applicants without an active PILB card may be considered pending licensing process.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test; additional screening if driving a company vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into each venue; verify tickets and badges; direct traffic.
• Screen guests at entry with bag search, hand wand or metal detector; verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of policies and procedures for different venues and events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances, aisles, concourses or other areas.
• Offer guests directions or suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
