Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or manually per DOT guidelines.
• Use loading techniques such as tight load and cross loading.
• Transport freight within the service center on varied surfaces.
• Monitor shipment locations using the dock yard management system.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and forms.
• Secure freight inside trailers with straps and airbags.
• Ensure quality loading and safe handling of all trailers.
