Hinckley Allen is seeking a mid-level associate to join our construction practice in Boston. The role covers drafting and negotiating contracts, claim preparation, and mediation, litigation, and appeals support.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years’ experience taking/defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for arbitrations and trials. MA Bar admission is required and e-discovery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions; preparing for arbitrations, mediations, and trial.
• Experience with e-discovery and construction contract negotiations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction contracts; evaluate and manage complex disputes and litigation.
• Develop litigation and resolution strategies; report to clients and manage local counsel and experts.
• Collaborate with multiple entities to advance risk management and claims handling.
