Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the field, activation of North Carolina Bar license, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with senior attorneys on sophisticated matters.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal experience in construction law, commercial litigation, or related area.
• Active North Carolina Bar license required; South Carolina or Virginia admission is a plus.
• Experience with motions practice, pretrial hearings, or courtroom advocacy.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a robust motions practice and prepare for hearings and courtroom proceedings.
• Assist with complex construction litigation and dispute resolution.
• Manage construction-related claims and assist with case strategy.
• Draft and negotiate construction and commercial contracts.
• Work closely with senior attorneys on sophisticated matters.
• Build relationships within the construction and legal communities through professional and industry organizations.
