Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in construction law or commercial litigation.
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission is mandatory.
• Strong experience in Construction Law.
• Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial and construction contracts.
• Experience handling construction litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Exposure to mediation and arbitration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a law-firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on construction law matters, including contracts, disputes, claims, and risk management.
• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate construction-related agreements and supporting documents.
• Represent clients in construction litigation and other dispute-resolution matters.
• Assist with mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
• Analyze construction claims, contractual disputes, delays, defects, and payment issues.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Collaborate with contractors, developers, owners, architects, engineers, insurers, and stakeholders.
• Provide practical legal advice regarding contractual obligations and risk mitigation.
• Support clients through contract negotiation to dispute resolution lifecycle.
• Manage case files, deadlines, discovery, and litigation-related activities.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, depositions, and hearings.
• Collaborate with partners on complex construction and commercial litigation matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships and timely business-focused advice.
