Job summary

IEC Property Services Corporation is seeking an energetic Community Manager to lead a 176-unit apartment community in Union City, California. The Community Manager will direct day-to-day operations, staff and vendors, and ensure goals and property plans are achieved with strong leadership and a customer-focused approach.

The role requires leasing, rent collection, and market engagement using Yardi Voyager, with budget oversight and collaboration with Regional Manager to maintain smooth

Qualifications

• Two years of multi-family property management experience.
• Knowledge of property management, California laws.
• Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills.
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing rules.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease available apartments in compliance with fair housing laws.
• Pre-lease units and manage a waiting list.
• Provide high level customer service and connect with residents.
• Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using Yardi Voyager.
• Market units daily on Craigslist and other sites.
• Enter traffic, applications, leases, notices, and work orders into Yardi Voyager.
• Maintain organized unit files and communicate with Regional Manager.
• Bid and negotiate service contracts and manage maintenance staff and vendors.
