Interstate Equities Corporation in Union City, CA is seeking a proactive Community Manager to lead a 60-unit property. You will oversee leasing, maintenance staff, and vendor relations to achieve property goals and deliver exceptional resident service.

The role requires at least two years in multi-family property management, strong knowledge of California laws, and proficient use of Yardi Voyager, RealPage, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of multi-family property management experience.
• Knowledge of California laws and local housing regulations.
• Strong MS Office and property management software skills; Yardi Voyager and RealPage preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to interact with residents, vendors, officials.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease available apartments in full compliance with fair housing laws.
• Pre-lease units and maintain a working waitlist of prospective residents.
• Provide a high level of customer service and connect with residents.
• Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using Yardi Voyager.
• Market available units daily on Craigslist and other approved sites.
• Screen and qualify prospective residents.
• Prepare vacant units for rental, including renovation oversight.
• Enter traffic, applications, leases, notices, and work orders into Yardi Voyager.
• Provide status and suggested strategies to Regional Manager for smooth operations.
• Maintain organized unit files, including leases and communications.
