Covenant HealthCare in Michigan is seeking a Clerical Clinical Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support across multiple sites. The role requires flexibility to handle duties in a fast-paced environment and within the same shift across various locations.

Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting clinicians, managing calls and scheduling, collecting co-pays, and ensuring patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• BLS certification within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording information.
• Assists providers during examinations and administers medications as ordered.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments, and handles administrative duties.
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens and basic clinical procedures.
• Coordinates imaging, labs and testing as ordered by the provider.
• Maintains patient records and follows HIPAA regulations.
