Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a Clerical Clinical Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support across multiple office locations within a shift. The role requires flexibility to cover clerical tasks and clinical duties including vital signs, basic procedures, and patient scheduling.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and MA training or 1 year of clinical/administrative experience, with BLS certification within six months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Competency-based Medical Assistant training program required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and updating medical records.
• Assist providers during examinations and perform basic clinical procedures.
• Handle administrative duties: phones, scheduling, co-pays and referrals.
• Coordinate lab tests, imaging, and medication administration as ordered.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
