Job summary

Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a CYP Assistant to work directly with children and youth, keeping them engaged, cared for, and safe while participating in the CYP.

The role focuses on developing social skills, healthy choices, self-help and school readiness, and exploration within a DoD program. It requires strong communication, collaboration with families, and adherence to DoD and supervisory directions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and supervision for program participants in compliance with DoD and local policies.
• Maintains safety and accountability for children and youth during activities and field trips.
• Interacts with children, youth, and adults using approved guidance and development techniques.
• Collaborates with parents and staff to communicate program progress and needs.
