Job summary

Hospitality Confidential is a high-end catering and events company seeking a Catering & Events Sales Manager to lead growth from Belmont, CA. You will manage inquiries, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee events from planning to on-site execution.

The role combines sales, front-of-house hospitality, creativity and operations—working with the Executive Chef, staffing, vendors, and accounting to ensure every event is thoughtfully planned and financially successful.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of catering sales experience (B2B and B2C preferred).
• Experience with CRM databases and office productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full event life cycle from inquiry through post-event follow-up and invoicing.
• Create accurate, high-quality event proposals, negotiate contracts, and collect deposits.
• Act as primary client contact during events to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction.
• Identify up-sell opportunities, drive ancillary revenue, and partner with vendors to increase sales.
• Coordinate kitchen alignment, staffing, timelines, and packing lists for events.
• Finalize invoices and coordinate with accounting to maximize profitability.
• Monitor market dynamics to protect margins and hit revenue targets.
• Represent the catering brand at community events and trade shows.
