Job summary

York CDJR of Plainfield is seeking a driven, energetic Business Development Representative to join our team. As a BDR, you’ll be the connection between our customers and our sales team, responding to inquiries, communicating with potential customers, scheduling appointments, and turning online and phone inquiries into dealership visits and vehicle sales.

The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, organized, and motivated by hitting goals.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers.
• Driven, competitive, and goal-oriented.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple leads.
• Comfortable using phone, text, email, CRM systems.
• Automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries.
• Provide customers with vehicle information and answer questions.
• Respond to new leads with a goal of 5 minutes or less.
• Generate and follow up with internet leads.
• Build relationships with customers and encourage showroom visits.
• Schedule appointments for sales and service teams.
• Follow up with customers who miss appointments and reschedule.
• Maintain accurate customer information in VinSolutions.
• Work with the sales team to convert opportunities into sales.
• Participate in team meetings and training to stay current on vehicles and processes.
