Job summary

Wilson County Motors LLC is seeking a Sales Consultant to serve as a front‑line representation of the dealership. You will help guests find vehicles that fit their needs and budget, using the dealership’s sales process and service standards to close sales with professionalism.

Responsibilities include demonstrating vehicles, explaining features and warranties, and maintaining accurate customer records. Evening/weekend shifts and ongoing training are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and every team member is expected to follow the Everyday HERO program in every aspect of their role.
• Follow the 'Steps to the Sale' as described by your manager.
• Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate new/used vehicles (includes test drives).
• Deliver new/used vehicles to customers and explain operating features, warranty and paperwork.
• Attend all required sales meetings.
• Keep abreast of new products and benefits to customers.
• Establish personal income goals and devise a strategy to meet them.
• Report to the Team Leader and/or Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.
• Review actions to improve time use and planning.
• Understand auto business terminology and stay updated on changes.
• Explain depreciation and equity to customers.
• Know laws governing retail auto sales.
• Document all contacts in the CRM.
• Attend trainings and obtain required manufacturer certification.
• Walk the lot to familiarize yourself with inventory.
• Follow up and collect from customers all stipulations to finalize deals.
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to highlight service quality.
