Foot Locker in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to drive sales, coach the team, and ensure store operations run smoothly. You will lead with energy, own the customer experience, and stay connected to customers and teammates on the floor.

You'll serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled, assist with hiring and training, and coach teammates in real time to close performance gaps. This role offers growth within a dynamic, community-focused retailer.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with an energy mindset.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers and products.
• Take an owner/operator mindset and ensure store execution meets standards.
