Job summary

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools is seeking an After School Site Director to plan, organize and supervise all activities for After-School and Summer Camp programs at an assigned school. You will ensure safety, developmental support and compliance with NC licensing while leading staff, volunteers and field trips.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year of administrative or supervisory experience in licensed after-school programs, with preferred CPR/First

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Elementary Education or related field is required.
• One year administrative experience preferred.
• One year experience managing and supervising a licensed after-school program or child care center preferred.
• CPR, Standard First Aid, and Playground Safety certification preferred.
• Documentation of TB test results and medical report requirements by first day of employment.
• OSHA, BSAC and related staff development training documentation must be completed within specified windows.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and supervises all program activities for After-School and Summer Camp.
• Ensures compliance with NC Child Care Licensing Requirements and school policies.
• Maintains safety, developmentally appropriate activities and positive environment for grades K–5.
• Supervises staff, volunteers and substitutes; conducts staff meetings and monitors performance.
• Coordinates field trips, newsletters and collaboration with school administrators.
