Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools seeks a Substitute After School Group Leader to supervise and guide students in K-5 activities, field trips, and enrichment sessions at various sites in Chapel Hill. Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with teaching and supervising children (grades K-5) in a recreational or educational setting
• At least 19 years of age
• High school diploma required
• TB test results signed by a medical practitioner
• Medical report within 30 days of employment
• CPR, SFA and Playground Safety certifications
• Required CEU credits by designated date

Responsibilities

• Works with a specific group of children as assigned by the Site Director; teaches and supervises children in all program activities and on field trips
• Plans and organizes enriching, age-appropriate activities per NC licensing
• Provides a safe environment for all students
• Participates in weekly site staff meetings
• Follows PBIS guidelines for managing student behavior
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors
