Job summary

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools seeks an After School Site Director to plan, organize, and supervise all program activities for after-school and summer camp programs. The role reports to the Director of Community Schools, with a 10-month work schedule and a salary grade of 105.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating field trips, and maintaining compliance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Elementary Education or related field required.
• One year administrative experience preferred.
• One year experience managing and supervising a licensed after-school program or child care center preferred.
• CPR, Standard First Aid, and Playground Safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and supervises all program activities in accordance with NC Child Care Licensing Requirements.
• Ensures safety and well-being of students and staff.
• Directs After-School and Summer Camp sites per school rules.
• Supervises staff and volunteers; conducts training and meetings.
• Maintains records, communicates with school administrators and families.
