Ahoskie Health and Rehabilitation Center in North Carolina seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support daily Nursing Services operations and ensure high‑quality resident care. You will partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, and survey readiness, while developing staff and driving quality.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in NC.
• Long-term care leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and regulatory knowledge.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold staff accountable.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Organized, dependable, and solutions‑focused.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and survey readiness.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff.
• Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
• Monitor nursing documentation, medication administration, and treatments.
• Serve in the Director of Nursing role when assigned.
