Job summary

Hireology is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing excellence and resident care in a dynamic setting. The role emphasizes dependable leadership, regulatory compliance, and robust clinical judgment to support a high standard of care.

You will oversee staffing, care planning, and infection control, while ensuring accurate documentation and staff development. The ADON will collaborate with physicians and teams to optimize resident outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Strong assessment and communication skills; leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs and assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage nursing staff including hiring, training, evaluation, assignment, and delegation.
• Ensure accurate resident documentation and records.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other resources; uphold infection control.
