Ideal candidates hold a master's degree (or equivalent with 18 graduate credits) and prior higher-education teaching experience; strong pedagogy, tech proficiency, and professional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field or a Master's with 18 graduate credits in a related field.
• Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience, or the equivalent as an adjunct instructor.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge with pedagogy and two years teaching-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Maintain a professional relationship with students and staff and encourage communication.
• Maintain accurate course records of students and complete course forms as required.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruitment of students as appropriate.
• Assist in evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance when agreed.
• Represent the college in a professional manner and promote a positive public image.
• Engage in professional development as required for credentialing.

Master's degree in related field
