Qualifications

• Minimum of a master's degree in the related field or 18 graduate credits.
• Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience; higher education teaching preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Strong background in pedagogy, computers and technology; excellent organizational and office skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to research and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Develop a professional relationship with students and staff.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete required forms.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruitment of students as appropriate.
• Assist in evaluating curriculum and instructional performance.
• Represent the college in a professional manner and promote a positive image.
• Engage in professional development as required for credentialing.
