Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or 18 graduate credits in related field.
• At least one year full-time teaching experience; higher education teaching preferred.
• Strong background in computers and technology; excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Welcoming, innovative, focus on student success; ability to engage diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi.
• Assist in development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Build professional relationships with students and staff.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete required forms.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in student recruitment when appropriate.
• Assist in curriculum assessment and instructional performance.
