Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field or Master's with 18 graduate credits in a related field
• Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience, or the equivalent as an adjunct instructor
• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform duties
• Strong background in pedagogy and teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn; ability to research and analyze data; ability to work independently toward goals and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned by the designated supervisor
• Develop appropriate lesson plans aligned with course objectives
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to supervisor
• Assist in development of measurable course objectives and plans
• Develop professional relationships with students and staff
• Maintain accurate course records of students and complete course forms
• Be available for student consultation
• Assist in recruitment of students as appropriate
• Assist in evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance
• Represent the college professionally in communities and college district
• Engage in professional development for credentialing
