Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Student Advocate to bridge our network with your school, building relationships with students, faculty, and clubs and promoting career opportunities on campus.

You will organize events, share externship and job opportunities, and support social media while gaining clinical experience through rotations at our hospitals. Ideal candidates are 1st or 2nd year DVM students, active in school clubs, and US citizens.

Qualifications

• Current 1st year or 2nd year veterinary student status.
• Active engagement within your school community and veterinary student clubs.
• You must not be employed by another veterinary group as a student representative.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary link between Mission Pet Health and your university's students, faculty, and student organizations.
• Promote awareness and participation in our DVM student programs through networking, email outreach, and attending student meetings.
• Host at least one engagement event per semester, managing logistics from scheduling to catering.
• Share information with peers about externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
• Keep our team informed about job fairs and campus events, and assist with visits from team members.
