Job summary

Somerville Homeless Coalition is seeking a DV System Coordinator to operate the Domestic Violence Coordinated Entry (DV CE) system and manage data in HMIS for clients fleeing violence. The role includes intake, eligibility verification, and referrals to DV-specific housing opportunities within the CoC; collaboration with VSPs is essential for access and accurate data handling.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices when working with DV survivors.
• Commitment to privacy and safety of clients.
• Ability to collaborate with partner agencies and advocate for clients.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Victim Service Providers to promote DV CE access.
• Input intake data into HMIS while preserving confidentiality.
• Verify eligibility and complete DV CE intakes.
• Provide virtual access to DV CE for clients who cannot meet in person.
• Refer clients to DV-specific housing programs and coordinate with case managers.
• Attend regional meetings and share information with BoS Navigators.
• Support SHC staff with housing navigation for DV survivors.
• Ensure equitable access and timely referrals within the DV CE system.
• Meet monthly with the VSP to review referrals and address concerns.
• Abide by handbook policies and code of conduct.
