St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco is seeking a Temporary Coordinated Entry DV Specialist to serve survivors of domestic violence at the Community Office in San Francisco. This 40-hour-a-week position includes some evenings and weekends and ends around January 31, 2027.

The role involves screening, assessments, crisis intervention, and coordination with the Riley Center and other partners. A Bachelor’s degree and DV training are required, with strong English and trauma-informed

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience closely related to the job description.
• 40-Hours of Domestic Violence Training from California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV).
• Substantial knowledge/experience working with individuals in crisis or unstable housing situations.
• Demonstrated respect for, experience with and willingness to work with a diverse client population.
• Knowledge of resources available to homeless and low-income residents of San Francisco.

Aufgaben

• Screen and assess domestic violence survivors using standardized data-based tools, including prioritization and referral protocols integrated into the HOPE system.
• Provide Coordinated Entry Housing Assessments for survivors of domestic violence.
• Use the ONE System to gather the UID number.
• Triage clients appropriately when they enter the community office.
• Maintain records and confidentiality; enter data in Salesforce and HOPE System within 24 hours.
