AMA - Arizona Multihousing Association is seeking a LIHTC Leasing Consultant to support two Phoenix affordable housing communities. The role requires leasing, marketing, resident relations, and LIHTC compliance across dual sites, with travel between properties as scheduled.

The ideal candidate will have LIHTC and HUD experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. The position is full-time and on-site in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Experience with LIHTC, affordable housing, and/or HUD-assisted housing programs.
• Knowledge of income calculations, household eligibility requirements, and affordable housing certifications.
• Familiarity with leasing procedures, Fair Housing regulations, and property management systems.
• Experience maintaining compliance-ready files and preparing for audits.
• Previous leasing, property management, or customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently across two properties.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist prospective residents with tours and explaining rental criteria.
• Process rental applications and supporting documentation per LIHTC guidelines.
• Verify income/assets/student status and eligibility.
• Prepare, review, and maintain applicant and resident files.
• Complete income certifications and annual recertifications.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements, renewals, and related documents.
• Follow up with prospects, manage leads, and meet occupancy goals.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are move-in ready.
• Maintain records and update property management software.
