Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for our Austin community. You will engage prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and manage move-ins to achieve occupancy targets.

You will implement marketing plans, track data in property software, and coordinate with maintenance to ensure show-ready units. This role emphasizes resident satisfaction, renewals, and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Experience performing leasing activities to achieve occupancy goals.
• Ability to greet, qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and finalize leases.
• Familiarity with on-site marketing plans and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Performs leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and ensuring smooth move-in.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and coordinates with maintenance for any items.
• Develops short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follows policies on concessions and programs.
• Executes marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, employer outreach, and internet marketing tools.
• Uses on-site property management software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Prepares leasing office for daily activities and ensures show units meet company standards.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to finalize leases and renewals.
• Supports lease renewal processes and documents with renewals and timely signings.
• Responds to resident/owner questions and documents requests promptly.
