Job summary

Children's Health is seeking a Clinical Educator RN in the Emergency Department to lead clinical staff education, onboarding, and competency programs. This on-site role supports lifelong learning through evidence-based curricula and partnerships with clinical teams.

The position emphasizes development, quality improvement, and collaboration across departments. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree, state RN licensure, and at least 3 years of clinical/nursing experience with teaching

Qualifications

• 3+ years related clinical and/or nursing experience required.
• Documentation of previous teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding/Orientation: develop and evaluate onboarding programs for clinical staff.
• Competency Management: create and assess competency programs for clinical personnel.
• Education: design and evaluate educational activities addressing practice gaps.
• Professional Role Development: support lifelong learning and role growth.
• Quality Improvement/Evidence-based Practice/Research: integrate evidence into education design and pursue QI initiatives.
• Collaborative Partnerships: coordinate with departments and institutions on education and learning.
