Job summary

Bally's Shreveport in Louisiana is seeking a Poker Room Supervisor with a solid background in dealing and casino operations. You will lead a team of dealers, ensure accurate dealing, run daily training, and uphold department standards in a busy, smoke-filled environment.

You will enforce internal controls, Title 31 compliance, and Louisiana Gaming Regulations while delivering top-notch customer service for comps, dinners and entertainment.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Technical/other training or better.
• LA Ops License.
• Knowledge of table procedures.
• Knowledge of Internal Controls, Title 31, and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Excellent customer service and familiarity with comps.
• Strong leadership to supervise poker dealers.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises employees in the Poker Room.
• Train, appraise, reward and discipline staff; address complaints.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Controls and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Maintain service standards and handle customer interactions.

Job description

• Must have experience or be a graduate of a certified dealing school.
• Able to comprehend policies and procedures and carry them out as set forth in the Internal Controls and manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service with a smile.
• Continued training sessions required. include the following.
• Must have a good, sound knowledge of table procedures.
• Excellent customer service knowledge of general information and comps. (i.e. dinners, concerts and entertainment) Must have a knowledge of all procedures including fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play and irregularities.
• Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, title 31 and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Must have excellent leadership skills to supervise poker dealers.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Directly supervises employees in the Poker Room.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Target Salary Range:

• $4.50/19.00 per hour
