Job summary

Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel seeks a Poker Room Supervisor to lead and train poker dealers, enforce policies, and ensure exceptional guest service. The role requires certification or graduation from a dealing school, strong knowledge of table procedures, and compliance with Internal Controls and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.

This position involves supervising staff in a loud, smoking environment and requires ongoing training and adherence to company standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have experience or be a graduate of a certified dealing school.
• Ability to comprehend policies and procedures and carry them out as set forth in the Internal Controls and manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service with a smile.
• Continued training sessions required.
• Must have good knowledge of table procedures.
• Excellent customer service knowledge of general information and comps (e.g. dinners, concerts and entertainment). Must know procedures including fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play and irregularities.
• Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, Title 31 and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Must have excellent leadership skills to supervise poker dealers.
• Directly supervises employees in the Poker Room.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per organization policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Target Salary Range:

• $4.50/19.00 per hour
