Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Baton Rouge is seeking a casino table games dealer to engage guests, deal Blackjack and other novelty games, and ensure accurate handling of bets and monies. The role requires a strong customer-service mindset and adherence to gaming regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining game integrity, answering policy questions, and staying flexible with shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Louisiana gaming license eligibility is preferred for employment.

Responsibilities

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Deal the game and monitor the monies of the table at all times.
• Control gaming cards and equipment.
• Use table, shoe, and paddle correctly.
• Monitor guest play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
• Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game.
• Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
• Complete all government reporting.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by management.

• Must be proficient in dealing Blackjack and all novelty games offered.
• Deal the game and monitor the monies of the table at all times.
• Control gaming cards and equipment.
• Use table, shoe, and paddle correctly.
• Monitor guest play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
• Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game.
• Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
• Complete all government reporting.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management

Target Hourly Rate

5.50-8.25 USD per Hour

Qualifications

Experience

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred (preferred)
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills. (preferred)
• Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company. (preferred)
• Gaming industry experience is preferred. (preferred)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License. (preferred)
