Job summary

Bally's Interactive in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Poker Dealer Supervisor to oversee Poker Room operations. You will supervise dealers, ensure adherence to internal controls, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced, loud, smoking-friendly environment.

Responsibilities include training staff, evaluating performance, enforcing policies, and coordinating with pit management to manage table procedures, fills, credits, and bank rolls.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deal poker.
• Graduate of certified dealing school or have relevant experience.
• Understand policies and procedures and carry them out as set forth in Internal Controls and manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service with a smile.
• Continued training sessions required; knowledge of table procedures and comps (dinners, concerts, entertainment).
• Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, Title 31 and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Must have strong supervisory leadership to oversee poker dealers.

• Must be able to deal poker.
• Must have experience or be a graduate of a certified dealing school.
• Able to comprehend policies and procedures and carry them out as set forth in the Internal Controls and manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service with a smile.
• Continued training sessions required. include the following.
• Must have a good, sound knowledge of table procedures.
• Excellent customer service knowledge of general information and comps. (i.e. dinners, concerts and entertainment) Must have a knowledge of all procedures including fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play and irregularities.
• Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, title 31 and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Must have excellent leadership skills to supervise poker dealers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Directly supervises employees in the Poker Room.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Target Salary Range

• $4.50/19.00 per hour
