Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Shreveport, LA seeks a Poker Room Supervisor to manage the poker room staff and ensure top-tier customer service. You will supervise dealers, oversee training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions, and enforce internal controls and Louisiana gaming regulations.

The role requires leadership, familiarity with table procedures, and the ability to handle high-pressure, loud environments. Prior dealing school graduate or experience preferred; LA Ops License required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a poker dealer or graduate of a certified dealing school.
• Strong knowledge of table procedures and comp policies.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
• Knowledge of Internal Controls and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to deal poker.
• Must have experience or be a graduate of a certified dealing school.
• Able to comprehend policies and procedures and carry them out as set forth in the Internal Controls and manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service with a smile.
• Continued training sessions required. include the following.
• Must have a good, sound knowledge of table procedures.
• Excellent customer service knowledge of general information and comps. (i.e. dinners, concerts and entertainment) Must have a knowledge of all procedures including fills, credits, bank rolls, marker play and irregularities.
• Thorough knowledge of Internal Controls, title 31 and Louisiana Gaming Regulations.
• Must have excellent leadership skills to supervise poker dealers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Competencies:

• Directly supervises employees in the Poker Room.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment:

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Target Salary Range:

• $4.50/19.00 per hour
