Job summary

Credit-Union-One is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support two Michigan branches (Westland and Farmington), alternating weeks between both locations and assisting the Branch Manager in daily operations. You will supervise staff, oversee audits, process loan applications, and develop member relationships to identify needs and provide suitable solutions.

The role requires an associate degree, two years of experience, and credentials in credit insurance; leadership and communication skills

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business administration or related field.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Michigan Credit Insurance License or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience in consumer or mortgage lending preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager in day-to-day branch operations.
• Supervise staff and coach tellers at two branches.
• Handle loan applications and close loans when needed.
• Maintain audit standards and address adverse findings with Branch Managers.
• Build relationships with members and identify needs for investment/referral opportunities.
