Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Teaching License (PEL) with bilingual endorsement or equivalent.
• Experience with Illinois Learning Standards and ELL standards.
• Experience with RtI and tiered instruction is preferred.
• Spanish language arts knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study per district guidelines and student needs.
• Use research-based strategies to engage a diverse student population.
• Create a learning environment that motivates and provides feedback.
• Administer ELL testing (ACCESS) and communicate progress to families.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in curriculum/professional committees.
