Job summary

Amazon Robotics seeks a Manager III, Hardware Development to lead compliance lab testing across two ISO 17025-accredited facilities (BOS12 and BOS27). You will oversee accreditation maintenance and guide EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical safety engineers to ensure regulatory compliance for GA-ready products.

You will partner with product compliance engineering to define test strategies, prioritize work, and drive continuous improvement while managing resources and expansion plans for on-time launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience leading engineering teams or mentoring engineers.
• Experience prioritizing competing demands and negotiating timelines.
• Working knowledge of EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical safety testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of two ISO 17025 laboratories and maintain A2LA accreditation.
• Manage and develop a team of EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical safety engineers.
• Balance priorities across product portfolio and plan capacity/resource allocation.
• Define strategies for testing capabilities and multi-year expansion roadmaps.
• Drive efficiency, metrics, and automation to reduce cycle times without headcount increases.
• Navigate budget processes and articulate resource needs to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with product compliance engineering, program management, and executives.
