Job summary

Autonomi Robotics seeks a hands-on electronics engineer to own hardware compliance from board level up. You will drive UL certification readiness for our AMR platform and lead the next design cycle's compliance activities, collaborating with the CEO/CTO on active hardware evaluations.

You will manage EMI/RF pre‑compliance in-house, evaluate RF modules for FCC, and document BOMs and schematics while supporting PCB design and vendor negotiations. Based on-site in Orlando, FL.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in hardware design and product compliance for electromechanical/robotics products.
• Direct UL certification experience (UL 3300/UL 62368-1) and FCC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead UL 3300 and related certifications with test lab coordination.
• Own EMI/RF pre-compliance testing in-house before chamber time.
• Evaluate RF/cellular modules for FCC compliance and replacements as needed.
• Reverse-engineer third-party hardware for BOM and schematics.
• Support PCB design, layout review, and rework across subsystems.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and consultants to move designs to production.
• Maintain and track certification documentation.
